Two Swedish brothers, Patric and Peter Nilsson, established Golf-Service in 1998. The idea was simple: give golfers visiting the Costa del Sol a complete holiday package — discounted pre-booked green fees, car rental, club hire, accommodation and shuttle transport — handled by people who actually live here.

Having grown up on the Costa del Sol and acquired the language and customs, brothers Patric and Peter Nilsson were able not only to provide golf holidays, but also to communicate directly with the golf courses on behalf of their customers. That simple advantage built strong relationships with both the golf courses and the clients – creating the personal service and trust that still define Golf-Service today.
Since launching in 1998, Golf-Service has grown into one of the leading golf travel specialists on the Costa del Sol. Today we book discounted green fees with 58 golf courses on the Costa del Sol and more than 140 golf courses across Spain, Mallorca and Cyprus.
In 2009, Golf-Service expanded by creating its own rental car fleet – something that separates us from most traditional golf travel agencies. By handling our own cars, we can provide a faster, more personal and more flexible service for both airport collections and returns.
As more golfers began purchasing properties on the Costa del Sol, demand increased for flexible golf and car packages rather than traditional hotel stays. Today, one of our most popular products is the combination of discounted green fees together with rental cars, allowing golfers the freedom to enjoy the coast at their own pace.
Due to popular demand, Golf-Service also introduced its own club hire service, making it even easier for travelling golfers to enjoy a hassle-free golf holiday without the need to travel with equipment.
Over the years, we have worked hard to maintain the close personal relationships established in the early days of the company. More than 85% of our customers are returning clients or referrals from existing customers – something we are extremely proud of.
Our clientele has grown from mainly Scandinavian golfers to golfers from all over Europe. While Scandinavia remains our largest market, we are proud to welcome a growing number of golfers from many different countries who return to us year after year.
We are in daily contact with the golf courses, hotels and service providers we work with, allowing us to offer fast, reliable service together with highly competitive prices.
